Can you believe it is July already? I can't. A lot of things going on in July that I want to share.
Closed on Wednesday, July 4:
We will be closed on 4th of July so everyone can enjoy some time with their families. We will be back open on Thursday, July 5.
Onesie Twosie Dot Sale:
We have a new sale shelf to the left when you first walk in the door that you have to check out. We do add items daily to this shelf so worth a look everytime you come and shop.
Sale items are marked appropriately but anything with a....
blue dot is 10%,
red dot is 30% &
yellow dot is 50%
....off the current sticker price. Have fun!
Swiss Diamond 40% off Sale:
The most common item customers shop for is a fry pan. And then the second question asked is for a non-stick pan. Swiss Diamond® International can trace its roots back to 1974, when HORT Coating Center SA was founded in Sierre, Switzerland, as a scientific research company exploring new materials and surface coatings. All products designed by Swiss Diamond® are manufactured with this cutting-edge nonstick surface coating. They continue to finesse their product with XD coding which is more diamonds. Believe it or not, diamonds are better heat conductors than metal, naturally non-stick and super durable. All reasons these pans are going to last you a long time with proper use.
I'm telling you all this because all current HD coating pans are 40% off to make room for the upped technology of XD coating which is more diamonds within their patented product. I hope to switch over from HD to XD pans this fall so help me make room and take advantage of this great 40% deal.
Sidewalk Sales - July 26 - 28:
With Downtown Ames, we are also participating in the Sidewalk Sales this year. Hoping for great weather and great deals! We also will be celebrating Customer Appreciation during this time with samples and giveaways. Stay tuned!
Ragbrai Downtown - July 24:
Cooks' Emporium will stay open until 8pm on Tuesday, July 24 while the Ragbrai events are happening downtown. Join in the celebration with live music, food and shopping!
Demonstrations on Thursdays:
I'm pumped about the line up forming with the Thursday demonstrations. So much talent and awesome topics. I just signed up a Jennifer to help teach how to make French Macarons! I've tried a few times and flopped so I'm excited to see how she creates those delicious little cookies.
Just an FYI that I did increase the cost of the demonstrations to $10 to help offset costs for the food and demonstrator costs. There is a lot that goes into planning and having demonstrations so thank you for understanding!
KASI Radio Show with Trent Rice:
I'll be on the radio with Trent Rice starting Monday 7/9 at 1pm CST to discuss some Essential Kits which I hand picked products from the store to make perfect, easy gifts. Come listen to my nervous voice for 30 minutes! :) https://www.iheart.com/live/1430-kasi-4060/
Holy cow, a lot of things! Thanks for your continued support and have a fantastic 4th of July holiday.
