3 cups hulled ripe strawberries
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup heavy or whipping cream
2 tablespoons Framboise Liqueur
1. Place the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a food processor fitted with a steel blade and process until smooth. Pour in the cream and liqueur and process until blended.
2. Freeze in an ice cream maker, following manufacturer’s instructions.
Recipe Notes: Framboise is a raspberry liqueur. Chambord is one easily found and usually not too expensive.
