Enjoy the Class!

Cooks' Emporium is excited to offer two types of classes, demonstrations and workshops. Demonstrations are what we are traditionally known for - you watch and learn plus receive a tasting of what is being demonstrated. Demonstration class size range from 8-20 guests. In addition to the tasting, the goal of demonstrations is that you learn something new every class to build confidence in your kitchen.

We are now offering workshop classes that are hands-on classes where you prepare the recipe, enjoy what you made and have a beverage paired with the recipe. Typical workshops have a minimum of 8 guests and a maximum of 12 guests. The goal of the workshop is to learn hands-on techniques to apply to your everyday cooking and baking.

 

Demonstrations and workshop classes are held at our store, 313 Main Street, Downtown Ames. We begin promptly so please arrive at least 5 minutes early to get settled and find your spot.

We also offer private classes for special events like team building, birthdays, showers and just a fun time out. We try to keep private classes between 8-15 guests and offer a unique setting for your special occasion. Please contact Rachel or Mindy at events@cooksemporiumames.com to work through the fun details.

Allergies Notice:

Recipes provided at Cooks’ Emporium are created using common cooking and baking ingredients that might not be specific in the recipe titles. These ingredients could include nuts, flours, dairy, spices, meat, fruits and vegetables. If you have a food allergy, please ask for us more information. Recipe adjustments cannot be made during the class time.

Young Chef Classes:

If a young chef needs to be accompanied by an adult, the adult must also pay for attending the class since participation requires the purchase of a full price ticket. Class price is per person.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand life happens. Due to prep, planning and food cost, if you would like to cancel a class you are enrolled in, we require an one-week notification for a refund. To cancel, please call the store asap at 515-233-4272 since there might be a waiting list.

 

Classes are subject to cancellation or rescheduling. In event of cancellation a full refund will be offered. In the event of reschedule, option of a refund or ticket for the new time will be offered.
